Fees & Payment

Samaritan Center strives to offer quality care with diverse and flexible payment options. We understand finances can be a barrier in accessing mental health care, but our committed donors and grant-funded programs make it possible for us to consider your resources and come up with a fee arrangement that ensures payment does not interfere with access to our services.

Our intake team will walk you through our payment options and if you are not able to afford your assessed fee, they will help explore our sliding scale and reduced fee programs. Documentation of income, military/veteran, and/or residency status may be required for eligibility. We accept most major insurance plans, and we can provide a superbill if you wish to see a provider that does not accept your insurance.

Full Rates:

  • Initial counseling session: $175
  • Ongoing counseling session: $150
  • Initial acupuncture session: $115
  • Ongoing acupuncture session: $80

Missed Appointments and Late Cancellations

Once you schedule an appointment, that time is reserved for you. We require a 24-hour notice to cancel an appointment in order to avoid a late cancellation fee. While we understand that situations may arise, as a nonprofit organization, it is our goal to prevent no-shows that deter our timely care to all clients. Missed appointments and late canceled appointment fees are not covered by insurance. The fees for missed or late canceled appointments are below.

Fees for Missed Appointments/Late Cancellation:

  • Insurance: $50
  • Private Pay: Counseling or integrative medicine session rate between $20-50
  • Hope for Heroes: $25
