Carolina Leon, LMFT-A is a licensed marriage and family therapist associate and graduate of Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She completed her bachelors of science degree in the field of psychology.
Carolina works collaboratively with individuals to achieve their goals and she tailors her approach to their needs. Some of the approaches she uses are solution-focused, narrative, humanistic, collaborative, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), internal family systems (IFS), attachment theory, and the Gottman method. She has worked with children, adolescents, couples, and families. Her approach is from a systemic perspective. Her training in family has shaped her to view problems in the context of relationships. She is committed to helping individuals and families who have been hurt and feel they are stuck in life. She offers them a safe haven, a place where they are free to be themselves.
She is fluent in Spanish and offers therapy for Spanish speaking individuals and families. She also welcomes those who want to invite their faith into therapy.
